How Redihealth Tablet works

Redihealth Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sodium Feredetate and Folic Acid. Sodium Feredetate works by replenishing the iron stores in your body. Iron is vital for formation of new red blood cells and hemoglobin, a substance that gives these cells the ability to transport oxygen. Folic Acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It also contains vitamin B12, that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.

Frequently asked questions

Redihealth Tablet is used to treat iron deficiency anemia and to correct low levels of folic acid and vitamin B12, helping the body make healthy red blood cells and improve oxygen transport.
For best absorption, take Redihealth Tablet between meals and avoid taking it with milk, antacids, or eggs. If stomach upset occurs, this medicine may be taken with food instead. Citric fruit juice (vitamin C) may help iron (present in Redihealth Tablet) absorption.
Some people may have mild nausea or diarrhea early in Redihealth Tablet treatment. If this happens, a short pause and restarting at a reduced dose often helps, guided by the prescribing doctor.
Yes, Redihealth Tablet can darken stools, which is usually harmless. However, report black, tarry stools with abdominal pain or weakness, which can suggest bleeding and need medical review.
Folic acid can normalize blood tests while nerve damage from vitamin B12 deficiency continues, and not all anemia is due to iron deficiency. Doctors check iron, B12, folate, and other labs to choose the right treatment and avoid masking serious conditions.
Use the age‑appropriate dose of Redihealth Tablet as prescribed by the doctor with a measured spoon or syringe. Keep the medicine out of children’s reach because accidental overdose of iron‑containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children.
