Ultrasound TVS

The Ultrasound TVS test is a radiation-free, safe process that is also the preferred choice for gynecological evaluation in women. Unlike conventional ultrasound, in which the device is placed on the abdomen's surface, TVS uses a probe that is placed inside the vagina. The sound waves produce a far more clear and detailed picture of the pelvic region. This test is used to diagnose and monitor several conditions impacting the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and cervix.

It is usually advised to women who are suffering from symptoms like irregular menstrual cycles, pelvic discomfort, or abnormal menstrual bleeding. This ensures to get clear images of the intended areas. After the test, the individual will be asked to empty the bladder for comfort. Inform the doctor or technician of any pregnancy. While the USG is safe, certain adjustments may be needed to ensure the best care during pregnancy.
