Overview
What is NCCT Mastoid Axial Coronal?
Non-contrast Computed Tomography (NCCT) Mastoid Axial Coronal is used to visualize mastoid bone located just behind the ear and its surrounding areas. This is performed to determine the cause of pain or inflammation in the ear accompanied with fever and hearing problems. It also helps to diagnose mastoiditis, a middle ear infection.
