Know more about this test

The MRI Face and Neck is an imaging technique that uses radio waves, powerful magnets, and a computer to create a picture of the structures that form the face and the part of the spice that runs through the neck. It helps to identify any underlying disease of the soft tissue, blood vessels, or bones. MRI of the neck is particularly useful to check spinal cord injuries and structural abnormalities like tumours.
The MRI is a safe procedure. It can take from ten minutes to two hours. Patients with a pacemaker or certain implants cannot get an MRI done as the metal may obstruct the radio signal and cause harm to the patient. The patient might have a dizzy sensation after the scan.
