Know more about this test

A CECT Scan Face & Neck of the neck and face involves the injection of contrast material and rotating X-ray beams to generate a comprehensive 3D picture of the face and neck's bones and soft tissues. The goal of CECT is to detect illness by increasing the contrast between a lesion (injury) and its normal surrounding structures.
In certain circumstances, a lesion will be hypovascular in comparison to normal tissue. Whereas in others, a lesion will be hypervascular compared to surrounding tissue during a specific phase of enhancement. As a result, depending on the illness you are searching for, it is critical to understand which phase a CECT should be performed.
