Genessense Package 3 - Blood is a series of blood tests used to evaluate the genetic risks of various hereditary diseases and individual responses to drugs. It comprises two different tests namely: CureGen Advanced test, and CarrierGen test. CureGen Advanced test assesses your genetic material (DNA) to predict your response to certain medications and tell you whether a particular medicine can be effective for you, whether you need different doses of medicines, or whether you are at risk of developing serious side effects due to altered metabolism of a medicine. A Carriergen test helps screen if you are the carrier of any genetic disease that could affect the health of your child. Knowing the genetic risk of a disease can help in timely lifestyle changes, health monitoring, and disease management.
