CYFRA 21 - Lung Cancer Marker

CYFRA-21-Lung-Cancer-Marker is a useful test to detect the reappearance of lung cancer in an already diagnosed patient. A tumor marker test allows a doctor to diagnose non-small cell carcinoma of the lungs and plan treatment. The test tends to show positivity in certain cases of squamous cell carcinoma, large cell carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma.

This test is prescribed by the doctor to monitor the progress of the condition and efficacy of the treatment in people diagnosed with non-small cell lung carcinoma.
