It also lubricates the eyes and blocks the production of certain chemicals that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy.

How to use Ceflox-Dee Eye/Ear Drops
यह दवाई केवल बाहरी इस्तेमाल के लिए है. इसे डॉक्टर की सलाह के अनुसार खुराक और अवधि में लें. इस्तेमाल करने के पहले लेवल की जांच कर लें. ड्रॉपर को पकड़ें और आंख/कान के करीब रखें. धीरे-धीरे ड्रॉपर को निचोड़ें और दवा को निचली पलक या कान के अंदर डालें. अतिरिक्त द्रव को साफ कर दें.

Ceflox-Dee Optic Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of three medicines : Ciprofloxacin, Dexamethasone, and Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, that treats bacterial eye/ear infections. सिप्रोफ्लोक्सासिन एक एंटीबायोटिक है. यह डीएनए-गायरेज़ नामक बैक्टीरियल एंजाइम की क्रिया को रोककर काम करता है. यह बैक्टीरियल कोशिकाओं को विभाजन और मरम्मत से रोकता है, जिससे उन्हें मार देता है. डेक्सामीथाज़ोन एक स्टेरॉयड है जो शरीर के केमिकल मैसेंजर के उत्पादन को रोकता है जिसके कारण इन्फ्लेमेशन (सूजन और लाली) तथा एलर्जी होता है. हाइड्रोक्सीप्रोपिल्मिथाइलसेल्यूलोज लुब्रिकेंट होता है. यह प्राकृतिक आँसुओं के समान काम करता है और आंखों को नमी और लुब्रिकेट प्रदान करके जलने और असुविधा से अस्थायी राहत देता है.

- Your doctor has prescribed Ceflox-Dee Optic Eye/Ear Drops to cure your eye infection and improve your symptoms.
- Use it twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
- Wash your hands first before applying Ceflox-Dee Optic Eye/Ear Drops. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. If it does, squeeze out two or three drops straightaway onto some tissue and rinse the tip with saltwater.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.

- Eye infections can cause your eyes to become more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this.

- Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other, and to other members of your family. Washing your hands regularly (particularly after touching your eyes) and not sharing towels or pillows will help to prevent the infection from spreading.
