Carzibo-M Tablet is a medicine that helps to control high blood glucose (sugar) levels when given in combination with other anti-diabetics. It works by slowing down the digestion and absorption of glucose (carbohydrates) from your digestive tract, thereby decreasing the rise in blood glucose levels after meals. It also helps get rid of extra glucose from your body through urine.

Lowering blood glucose levels is an essential part of managing diabetes and reduces the risk of getting serious complications of diabetes such as kidney or eye damage, nerve problems and loss of limbs.

Tell your doctor immediately if you experience any deep or rapid breathing, persistent nausea, vomiting or stomach pain as Carzibo-M Tablet may cause a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis, which is an excess of lactic acid in the blood.
Along with your regular doctor visit, you might also need regular check-ups with an eye clinic and a foot clinic as well.
Your doctor will also advise you to test for sugar in your blood using a home diabetes test kit regularly to check that your sugar level is being controlled.
Along with a healthy diet, indulge in light exercises regularly and quit smoking and drinking.
If you feel excessively thirsty, pass urine more frequently, and get tired easily, then let your doctor know. These are the signs of very high sugar levels in your blood and your treatment may need adjusting.
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) may occur if Carzibo-M Tablet is taken along with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or on delaying/skipping a meal. Check your blood sugar levels and have a snack/sugar source for immediate relief.
Seek immediate medical help if you experience any deep or rapid breathing, persistent nausea, vomiting or stomach pain as Carzibo-M Tablet may cause a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis, which is an excess of lactic acid in the blood.
