Frequently asked questions

Zoly 0.5mg/10mg Tablet is usually given to help manage symptoms of depression that occur along with anxiety, tension, restlessness, or excessive worrying. These symptoms can affect relationships, work, sleep, and daily activities. By improving mood and reducing anxiety, the medicine may help you feel more emotionally balanced and better able to cope with everyday life.
Zoly 0.5mg/10mg Tablet contains Flupenthixol and Nortriptyline, which work on chemical messengers in the brain that influence mood, emotions, and stress responses. When these chemicals become imbalanced, a person may experience persistent sadness, anxiety, irritability, or loss of interest in activities. The medicine helps restore this balance and gradually improves emotional well-being.
Yes. Many people with anxiety find it difficult to stop worrying, even about everyday situations. They may repeatedly think about problems or imagine negative outcomes. As treatment starts working, these thoughts often become less overwhelming, making it easier to relax and focus on daily tasks.
Anxiety does not always have an obvious trigger. Sometimes it can occur because of changes in brain chemicals that affect how stress and emotions are processed. This may cause constant nervousness, restlessness, or a feeling that something bad might happen even when there is no clear reason for concern.
Loss of interest in hobbies, social activities, work, or spending time with loved ones is a common symptom of depression. As your mood improves, you may gradually regain interest in activities that once felt enjoyable. This improvement is usually gradual rather than sudden.
Depression can sometimes make individuals feel emotionally flat, detached, or unable to experience happiness, excitement, or affection in the same way as before. As treatment progresses, many people notice that they become more emotionally engaged and responsive to the people and activities around them.
Yes. Depression does not only affect mood. It can also cause tiredness, low energy, poor concentration, body aches, headaches, changes in appetite, and disturbed sleep. Because of this, some people initially think they have a physical illness rather than a mental health condition.
Some individuals may feel sleepy, tired, or less alert, especially during the first few weeks of treatment. This happens because Nortriptyline can affect brain pathways involved in wakefulness. The sleepiness often becomes less noticeable as your body adjusts to the medicine.
Dry mouth is a common effect of Nortriptyline. The medicine can reduce saliva production, which may leave your mouth feeling dry or sticky. Drinking water regularly, chewing sugar-free gum, and maintaining good oral hygiene may help reduce discomfort.
Yes. While Zoly 0.5mg/10mg Tablet can help manage anxiety and depression, stressful life events can still affect your emotional well-being. Work pressure, relationship difficulties, financial concerns, or poor sleep may temporarily worsen symptoms. Learning healthy coping strategies alongside treatment may help improve recovery.
Treatment often works best when combined with healthy lifestyle habits. Regular physical activity, a consistent sleep schedule, balanced meals, stress-management techniques, and staying connected with supportive friends or family members can all contribute to emotional recovery.
Many people begin to feel better before the underlying condition is fully controlled. Continuing treatment for the duration recommended by your doctor helps stabilize improvement and may reduce the likelihood of symptoms returning in the future.
They can. Factors such as ongoing stress, major life changes, poor sleep, or stopping treatment too early may increase the chance of symptoms returning. Recognizing early warning signs and seeking help promptly can make symptoms easier to manage.
Contact your doctor if your symptoms are getting worse, if you experience severe sleepiness, major mood changes, worsening anxiety, unusual thoughts, difficulty carrying out daily activities, or side effects that are affecting your quality of life. Regular follow-up helps ensure the treatment remains safe and effective.
