Zila 10 Tablet is a medicine that reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It is used for treating acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine such as acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and some other stomach conditions associated with excessive acid production.

Zila 10 Tablet is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. It belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medicine should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. What is Zila 10 Tablet used for?

Zila 10 Tablet is used for the treatment of peptic ulcer disease, reflux esophagitis or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Zila 10 Tablet prevents acidity associated with use of painkillers. It is also used to treat a disease associated with excessive acid production in the stomach known as Zollinger Ellison syndrome (ZES). It works by reducing the amount of acid made by your stomach and thus relieves your symptoms.

Is Zila 10 Tablet safe?

Yes, Zila 10 Tablet is relatively safe. Most of the people who take Zila 10 Tablet do not get a side effect. It is advised to be taken as directed by the doctor for maximum benefit.

Can I take Zila 10 Tablet for a long term?

Zila 10 Tablet is usually prescribed for short term use only. If the use is further prolonged for more than a year, you may have an increased risk of bone fractures, stomach infections and vitamin B12 deficiency.
