How to use Zenrid D Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zenrid D Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

How Zenrid D Tablet works

Zenrid D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cetirizine and Dextromethorphan. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which reduces cough associated with allergies by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger, histamine. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.

Zenrid D Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy

Zenrid D Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
Zenrid D Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zenrid D Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
