How to use Zeefix CV Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zeefix CV 100mg/62.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Zeefix CV Tablet works
Zeefix CV 100mg/62.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Clavulanic Acid. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria.

Zeefix CV 100mg/62.5mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Zeefix CV 100mg/62.5mg Tablet may cause side effects such as allergic reactions, dizziness or fits that may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics

No Zeefix CV is only indicated to treat bacterial infections. It does not treat viral infections (such as common cold or flu).
Q. How to take the Zeefix CV?
Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once a day. If you are consuming chewable tablets, chew thoroughly and then swallow. Continue to use this medicine until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after the few days.

Zeefix CV should be used with particular care in the presence of severely impaired renal function. Dose modification is advised for patients with moderate or severe renal impairment.

Clostridium difficile is a common cause of hospital acquired infection, which produces a diarrhoeal disease that varies in severity from asymptomatic colonisation to severe diarrhoea and complicating colitis. It is associated with diarrhoea, fever, loss of appetite, nausea and stomach pain.
