Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are dryness in mouth, headache, fatigue, and allergic reaction. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before you start taking this medicine it is important to inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease.

Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes, and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop using it unless you are advised otherwise.

How Zall-Pace Tablet works

Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and Paracetamol which relieve common cold symptoms. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Quick tips

Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.
Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
Along with taking Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
1. a) Steam inhalation.
2. b) Gargling with warm saltwater.
3. c) Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
4. d) Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
5. e) Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.

Breast feeding

CAUTION

Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.
Larger doses or more prolonged use of Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and other effects in the baby or decrease the milk supply

Driving

UNSAFE

Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Use of Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

UNSAFE

Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
However, the use of Zall-Pace 5mg/500mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
