The use of Ximtil cv can also lead to serious side effects like severe stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea/vomiting, unusual tiredness, new signs of infection (e.g., persistent sore throat, fever), yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine, easy bruising/bleeding, signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine), mental/mood changes (such as confusion). This medication may rarely cause a severe intestinal condition (Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea) due to a resistant bacteria.

Yes, the use of Ximtil cv can cause diarrhea. Antibiotics can kill good, or helpful, bacteria in your stoamch or intestine and cause diarrhea. In case, you experience diarrhea, drink plenty of water or other fluids. Talk to your doctor if you have persistent diarrhea and any signs of dehydration like less urination with dark coloured and strong-smelling urine. Do not take any other medicines without consulting a doctor.
