Individuals should not take Utimack Syrup if they are allergic to magnesium citrate, potassium citrate, or any ingredients in the medicine, have severe kidney problems, high potassium levels (hyperkalemia), certain heart conditions, or a blocked urinary tract. Patients with a rare disorder called Addison’s disease (a condition in which the adrenal gland does not produce enough of certain hormones, primarily cortisol and aldosterone) should also not use this medicine.
Serious side effects of Utimack Syrup include muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat, confusion, trouble breathing, severe vomiting, or black/tarry stools. These can be signs of high potassium (hyperkalemia), kidney problems, or intestinal bleeding.
Long-term use of Utimack Syrup should only be done under medical supervision, as excess intake may cause high potassium or magnesium, which can harm your heart and kidneys.
