Urinice D 0.4mg/0.5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Urinice D Tablet side effects

Common

Impotence, Decreased libido, Breast pain, Ejaculation disorder, Dizziness.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Urinice D 0.4mg/0.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Urinice D Tablet works

Urinice D 0.4mg/0.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tamsulosin and Dutasteride which relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor which helps in shrinking the prostate by decreasing the level of a hormone that causes the prostate to grow.

Alcohol

CAUTION

Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.

Pregnancy

CAUTION

Urinice D 0.4mg/0.5mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
