How to use Tyuazi Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. TYUAZI 200 MG/250 MG TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Tyuazi Tablet works

TYUAZI 200 MG/250 MG TABLET is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Azithromycin. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

TYUAZI 200 MG/250 MG TABLET is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
TYUAZI 200 MG/250 MG TABLET is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
TYUAZI 200 MG/250 MG TABLET does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Q. What is Tyuazi used for?
Tyuazi is used to treat patients with bacterial infections. Cefixime is used to treat infections such as pneumonia; bronchitis; gonorrhea; and ear, lung, throat and urinary tract infections. Azithromycin is an antibiotic and indicated for the treatment of ear infections, strep throat, pneumonia, traveler's diarrhea (loose stools and stomach cramps while traveling). It may also be used for the number of sexually transmitted infections including chlamydia and gonorrhea infection.

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) that you can get from having sex with a person who already has it. You can get gonorrhea from having oral, vaginal or anal sex. Many people with gonorrhea feel fine and do not have any symptoms. Other people may have symptoms including pain during sex, pain while urinating, discharge from the penis in males and changes in usual vaginal discharge in females.

Yes, the use of azithromycin for 5 days has been found to be highly effective for the treatment of uncomplicated typhoid fever in children and adolescents. However, it is advised to take proper consultation from the doctor before starting the dose.

It is usually between seven and fourteen days, but can be as short as three days, or as long as 30 days. If left untreated, illness usually lasts for three to four weeks, but may be longer in a small number of cases. Symptoms vary from mild to severe and life-threatening.

Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea (CDAD) has been reported with use of nearly all antibacterial agents, including Tyuazi and may range in severity from mild diarrhea to fatal colitis(inflammation of large intestine). It is associated with diarrhoea, fever, loss of appetite, nausea and stomach pain.
