You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as it will not clear your condition faster and some side effects may be increased. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. You can help this medication work better by keeping the affected areas clean.
Common side effects include burning, itching, irritation, and redness at the site of injection. It may also cause blisters on your skin. In case of accidental contact, wash your eyes with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention.
Application of Troid Lotion can make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Avoid exposure to sunlight. Use sunscreens and cover yourself with protective clothing for at least 8 hours after treatment. Avoid eating certain foods like limes, figs, parsley, parsnips, mustard, carrots, and celery, as they may increase the skin's sensitivity to light.
Benefits of Troid Lotion
Psoriasis causes thick, scaly patches on the skin along with itching and irritation. Troid Lotion helps slow down the excessive growth of skin cells when used with light therapy, which reduces scaling, redness, and discomfort, leading to clearer and healthier-looking skin.
Vitiligo is a condition where patches of skin lose their natural color due to reduced pigment. Troid Lotion helps restore pigmentation by increasing the skin’s sensitivity to light, which supports the repigmentation process and improves the appearance of affected areas.
