TrILopacE Tablet

rx_imgPrescription Required

Product introduction

TrILopacE Tablet is a combination of medicines used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single medication is not effective. It helps lower high blood pressure, thus reducing the chances of future heart attacks and strokes.

TrILopacE Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Try to take it at the same time each day. It is important to keep taking this medicine until your doctor tells you not to. It contains a diuretic (water pill) and will make you urinate more. Use this medicine regularly to get the most benefit from it, even if you feel well. High blood pressure does not usually have symptoms, and if you stop taking it, your risk of heart attack or stroke may increase.

The most common side effects of this medicine include stomach pain, chills, difficulty urination, chest tightness, and dizziness. Consult your doctor if any of these bother you, get worse, or won't go away. Drink plenty of fluids while taking medicine to overcome muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst.

Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You also need to tell your doctor what other medicines you are taking, especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions. You should have your blood pressure, kidney function, level of electrolytes, and blood sugar level checked regularly to make sure that this medicine is working properly.

In Hypertension (high blood pressure)

TrILopacE Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also eliminates excess water from the body and increases urine output. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

How TrILopacE Tablet works

TrILopacE Tablet is a combination of three medicines: losartan, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide. Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), and amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

FAQs

What is TrILopacE Tablet used for?

TrILopacE Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and helping the body eliminate excess salt and water, which in turn lowers blood pressure.

What are the serious side effects of TrILopacE Tablet I should watch for?

While taking TrILopacE Tablet, you should seek immediate medical attention if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, or throat, or if you have symptoms of very low blood pressure, like dizziness or fainting. Other serious side effects may include kidney problems, which could present as reduced urination, swelling, or unusual tiredness; high potassium levels, which may cause muscle weakness or a slow heartbeat; and rare eye problems like sudden eye pain or changes in vision.

What's the best time to take TrILopacE Tablet?

The best time to take TrILopacE Tablet should be based on your doctor's recommendation. However, it is commonly taken in the morning, with or without food. Taking it in the morning may help reduce the risk of nighttime urination, which can disturb sleep.

What should I avoid while taking TrILopacE Tablet?

While on TrILopacE Tablet, you should avoid consuming alcohol, as it may cause your blood pressure to drop too low. It is also advisable to limit intake of salt and potassium-rich foods or supplements unless specifically directed by your doctor. Staying hydrated is important, as dehydration can worsen side effects. Be cautious with driving or operating machinery until you know how the medication affects you, as it may cause dizziness.

Why might I feel dizzy or lightheaded when I start TrILopacE Tablet?

During the initial TrILopacE Tablet course, there is a chance of feeling dizzy or lightheaded. This happens because your blood pressure is dropping. It's normal at first, but be careful when standing up quickly or doing physical activity. Let your doctor know if the dizziness continues.

Can I stop taking TrILopacE Tablet when my blood pressure (BP) improves?

No, don’t stop taking TrILopacE Tablet without your doctor’s advice. High blood pressure often has no visible symptoms, and stopping your medication abruptly can cause it to rise again, increasing your risk of serious complications such as heart attacks or strokes.

How should I monitor my blood pressure?

You should check your BP at home 2-3 times weekly and keep a record to show it to your doctor. Ideally, take readings in the morning before taking your medication and again in the evening for the most accurate tracking.

Can TrILopacE Tablet affect my exercise routine?

TrILopacE Tablet may cause some dizziness during physical activity, especially if you’re not properly hydrated. To stay safe, drink enough water during workouts, avoid standing up too quickly, and try not to exercise in extremely hot environments, as this may worsen dizziness.
