Tivision Eye Drop is a local anesthetic agent. It is used during minor surgical or diagnostic eye procedures to anesthetize or numb the eye(s) in which the procedure is to be performed. Sometimes, it is also used to treat eye irritation or pain.
Tivision Eye Drop is for external use only. It should be used before any surgical procedure or eye treatment by a doctor or healthcare professional only. While applying the medicine you may be asked to hold your eyelid, so wash your hands. It is advisable not to rub your eyes during the treatment.
This medicine may cause irritation and burning sensation immediately following the application. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. Do not wear contact lenses while using it. It is advisable to avoid using any other eye drops without doctor consultation.
