Product introduction

Thioquest D 4 Capsule should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

How Thioquest D Capsule works

Thioquest D 4 Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Thiocolchicoside and Diclofenac, which relieves muscle pain. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

The use of Thioquest D 4 Capsule is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/ bleeding. Its use should also be avoided in a patient with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
Thioquest D 4 Capsule is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when your pain is relieved. However, Thioquest D 4 Capsule should be continued if you are advised by your doctor to do so.

Yes, the use of Thioquest D 4 Capsule can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
