Terbicort-Total Cream

Terbicort-Total Cream should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine is for external use only and should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as it would not clear your condition faster and some side effects may be increased. The affected area should be clean and dry before application of the ointment. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine.

Using the medicine may cause local site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness immediately following application. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration.

Avoid direct contact of Terbicort-Total Cream in your eyes. In case of accidental contact, wash your eyes with plenty of water immediately and seek medical attention. Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.

• You have been prescribed Terbicort-Total Cream for the treatment of dermatitis and fungal skin infections.
• Apply it as a thin layer onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area of skin twice a day.
• Fungal infections often occur in warm, moist areas of the body. After washing or showering, make sure that all areas of your skin are dried well, particularly areas such as skin folds and between your toes.
• Do not share your towel or clothes with anyone and wear clean clothes every day to prevent infection.
• Use moisturizer (if needed) to overcome skin dryness during the course of treatment.
