    Frequently asked questions FOR TENGLYN

    Teneligliptin

    Q.

    How should I use teneligliptin?
Teneligliptin is usually taken once a day with or without food. Take it preferably at the same time every day. Read the product label carefully before use.

    Q.

Can I take teneligliptin with insulin?
Yes, teneligliptin can be taken along with insulin. The addition of teneligliptin can help to improve your blood glucose levels without increasing the risk of hypoglycemia and this could further decrease the dose of your insulin.

    Q.

Can I use teneligliptin as an alternative to linagliptin?
Yes, teneligliptin can be used as an alternative to linagliptin as both belong to the same class of drugs and work similarly by inhibiting the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase-4 to keep your blood sugar levels normal. They are also not very different in terms of how they behave inside your body and are safe in patients with underlying kidney and liver diseases.
