Tempol Syrup

Tempol Syrup contains two painkiller medicines. They work together to reduce pain, fever, and inflammation. It is used to treat many conditions such as headache, muscle pain, pain during periods, toothache, and joint pain.

Take Tempol Syrup with food to reduce the risk of an upset stomach. The dose and how often you need it will be decided by your doctor. Medicines used to treat pain are usually best taken at the first sign of pain. It is meant for short-term use only. Consult your doctor if the symptoms persist or worsen or if the medicine is required for use beyond 3 days. Side effects are rare if this medicine is used correctly, but it may cause heartburn, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, headache, and stomach pain in some people. Consult your doctor if any of these bother you or do not go away. Before taking Tempol Syrup, let your doctor know if you are using blood-thinning medicines, or have asthma or any liver or kidney problems. It may affect the dose or suitability of this medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Let your doctor know about all the other medicines you are taking, as they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. It is best to avoid drinking alcohol while using this medicine.

• Take Tempol Syrup exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and avoid prolonged use without medical supervision.
• Long-term or excessive use of Tempol Syrup may increase the risk of stomach bleeding and kidney problems.
• Do not take Tempol Syrup with other medicines containing paracetamol without consulting your doctor.
• Avoid taking Tempol Syrup with other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, or naproxen) unless advised by your doctor.
• Avoid alcohol while taking Tempol Syrup, as it may increase drowsiness and the risk of stomach or liver problems.
• Watch for warning signs such as severe stomach pain, vomiting blood, or black/tarry stools, and seek medical attention immediately.
• Stay well hydrated while taking Tempol Syrup, especially during fever or hot weather.
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of asthma triggered by painkillers before taking Tempol Syrup.
• If dizziness occurs after taking Tempol Syrup, avoid driving or activities requiring alertness.
• Consult your doctor if pain or fever persists for more than a few days despite taking Tempol Syrup
