Synpirox Vaginal Cream is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is best to use it at night time for better results. Do not use the medicine for longer than your doctor has told you to and let him or her know if your condition does not improve after 2 to 4 weeks of treatment. The affected area should be clean before using the medicine. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine.
Application site reactions and erythema are some common side effects of this medicine. If the side effects bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know. It makes condoms and diaphragms less effective, ask your doctor about suitable birth control methods.
It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction.
