Sunray SF Syrup suppresses dry cough and gives you relief from an itchy throat. Along with taking Sunray SF Syrup, gargling with warm salt water, and having ginger or honey can help you manage dry cough. Sunray SF Syrup will also relieve allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose and help you carry out your daily activities more easily. Take it as prescribed by the doctor.

How Sunray Syrup works

Sunray SF Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Phenylephrine, Menthol, Diphenhydramine and Chlorpheniramine Maleate. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation. Diphenhydramine and Chlorpheniramine are antiallergics which relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Quick tips

Sunray SF Syrup is prescribed to get relief from a dry cough.
Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement and have a cough for more than 7 days.
Inform your doctor if you have had a cough for a long time or if you have asthma or suffer from serious asthma attacks, or if your cough is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Sunray SF Syrup may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Sunray SF Syrup may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby

Driving

UNSAFE

Sunray SF Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Sunray SF Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Use of Sunray SF Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION

Sunray SF Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
