How to use Storfib Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Storfib LS Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Storfib Tablet works
Storfib LS Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Atorvastatin and fenofibrate. Atorvastatin prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood. Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).

Q. Can the Storfib cause liver damage?
Storfib contains Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate. A very rare (1 in 10000 patient) side effect of this medicine is liver damage. Use of this medicine should be avoided in patients with the underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately If you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or abnormal live enzymes.
Q. Can the Storfib cause muscle pain?
Yes, Storfib is known to cause muscle pain by injuring muscle. Talk to your doctor as soon as possible if you are experiencing muscle pain, weakness or muscle cramps. It can be a sign of muscle injury due to Storfib.
Q. What are the lifestyle changes to adapt while taking Storfib?
Making lifestyle changes can boost your health while taking Storfib. Stop smoking, as it lowers your risk of having heart attack and stroke. If you are overweight or obese: try to lose weight.
