How to use Solvin Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Solvin 30mg/4mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

How Solvin 30mg/4mg Tablet works

Solvin 30mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine and Dextromethorphan which relieve dry cough. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant which relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which helps reduce cough associated with allergies by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger, histamine.
