Product introduction

Sodothea Tablet is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You should check the label for directions before use. Do not use it on your ear if you have a perforated or ruptured eardrum and recently had ear surgery. Follow the instructions given by your doctor and never use a bottle if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time.

Use of this medicine may cause a few side effects like transient irritation in the ear, dryness of the ear cannal, and redness ot rash in the ear. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects bother you or they get worse.

Use three to four drops of Sodothea Tablet twice daily for seven days and allow the solution to remain in the ear for 5 to 10 minutes. Consult your doctor If your symptoms did not improve after five days.

Sodothea Tablet is a liquid solution that helps to soften, disperse and sometimes dissolve ear wax. Although ear wax drops can be an effective, self-sufficient treatment for ear wax, they are more often used before some other form of treatment for ear wax such as ear syringing or ear irrigation. This medicine is absorbed by ear wax, aiding in thinning and softening it in the process. It softens the hard and dried ear wax and enables its easy removal. This helps in getting rid of the earwax without pain and discomfort.

  • Use the medicine only for the number of days your doctor told you, as longer use can irritate the ear.
  • Do not use earbuds or cotton swabs while using Sodothea Tablet, as they can push wax deeper or cause damage.
  • If you feel pain, itching, or your hearing gets worse, stop using the medicine and tell your doctor right away.

Sodothea Tablet is used to soften and loosen earwax (also known as cerumen), making it easier to remove naturally or during ear irrigation. This medicine is commonly used as a noninvasive treatment for blocked ears and alleviates symptoms like earache, difficulty hearing, itching, etc.
You can use 3 to 4 drops of Sodothea Tablet, 2 to 4 times daily, and for up to 5 to 7 days. Do not use it for longer than recommended unless advised by a doctor.
You should warm Sodothea Tablet to room temperature by holding or rubbing it between your palms. Tilt your head with the affected ear facing up, apply the drops, and keep your head tilted for 5 to 10 minutes. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the ear.
Individuals should not use Sodothea Tablet if they have a perforated eardrum (hole in eardrum), ear infection, injury, or inflammation, a mastoid cavity, or a history of allergy to sodium bicarbonate or any ingredients present in Sodothea Tablet.
No, never use cotton buds or swabs after using Sodothea Tablet to remove softened wax. Doing this can push wax deeper, increase the risk of infection, or damage the eardrum.
If your symptoms do not improve after 3-5 days of treatment, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice. Do not attempt to remove earwax with cotton buds or other objects, as this can worsen the problem.
