General Information



Product introduction
Use Sertafic 2% Ointment exactly as directed by your doctor. Before applying, wash and dry the affected area thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of the medicine to cover both the infected skin and the surrounding healthy skin. Wash your hands after applying. Continue using the medicine for the full prescribed course, even if the infection looks better sooner, to prevent it from coming back.
Sertafic 2% Ointment is generally well tolerated. Some people may notice mild skin reactions such as redness, burning, dryness, itching, or irritation at the site of application. These effects are usually temporary. If the reaction becomes severe, stop using the medicine and inform your doctor.
This medicine is for external use on the skin only. Do not use it in the eyes, mouth, or vagina. Do not cover the treated area with bandages or dressings unless told by your doctor. Avoid using Sertafic 2% Ointment if you are allergic to sertaconazole, other imidazole antifungals, or any of the ingredients in the medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should inform their doctor before using this medicine to make sure it is safe for them.
