General Information

Product introduction
Salcin 12% Ointment works by helping the outer layer of the skin shed more easily. This softens thickened skin, loosens scales, and allows healthier skin to form underneath, improving the appearance and comfort of affected areas.
Apply Salcin 12% Ointment only to the affected skin, usually after washing and gently hydrating the area. Use it in the dose and duration prescribed by the doctor. Applying more than needed will not speed up results. Avoid covering the treated area tightly unless specifically advised, as this can increase absorption.
There is limited data on the common side effects of this medicine. You may experience erythema (redness) and scaling if applied to open skin lesions. If severe redness, burning, or discomfort develops, stop the treatment and consult your doctor for advice.
Salcin 12% Ointment is for external use only and should not be applied to the eyes, mouth, or other mucous membranes. It should not be used on broken or infected skin unless advised by a doctor. Do not use for long-term, especially in children or people with kidney or liver problems, as that may lead to unwanted absorption and side effects. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before using this medicine.
Uses of Salcin Ointment
- Treatment of Skin disorders
Benefits of Salcin Ointment
Salcin 12% Ointment helps manage skin disorders associated with thickened, rough, and scaly skin by softening and loosening excess keratin on the skin surface. It is commonly used in conditions such as psoriasis, ichthyosis, keratosis pilaris, palm and sole keratosis, pityriasis rubra pilaris, and certain hyperkeratotic warts and lesions. It reduces the scaling and thickening and improves skin texture, relieves discomfort and tightness. When used regularly, it can make affected skin smoother and more comfortable, helping users feel less restricted in daily activities.

- Avoid covering the treated area with tight bandages or occlusive dressings unless your doctor specifically advises it, as this can increase absorption.
