How to use Rofibax Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rofibax 50 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Rofibax Tablet works

Rofibax 50 mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) called COX-2 inhibitors. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Pregnancy

Rofibax 50 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation

Driving
It is not known whether Rofibax 50 mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney

Use of Rofibax 50 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver

Use of Rofibax 50 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
