Reziz 12.5 mg/250 mg Suspension is used in the treatment of malaria
Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Fatigue, Feeling of fullness, Dizziness, Headache, Mouth sore, Skin rash.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Reziz 12.5 mg/250 mg Suspension is to be taken with food.
Reziz 12.5 mg/250 mg Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Pyrimethamine and Sulphadoxine which treat malaria. Pyrimethamine is an antiparasitic medicine which works by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulphadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
