Revolol AM 2.5mg/25mg Tablet

Prescription Required

Product introduction

Revolol AM 2.5mg/25mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is a combination of two medicines that effectively controls blood pressure when a single medication is not effective. It is also used for heart-related chest pain, abnormal heart rhythms, and chronic (long-term) heart failure. By lowering the blood pressure, it helps in preventing future heart attack and stroke. Early treatment with this medicine improves chances of survival in patients of heart attack. This medicine should be taken regularly at a fixed time each day. It should not be stopped abruptly as it may result in sudden increase of blood pressure. This medicine should be used along with a proper diet, salt restriction, and regular exercise for best results. Some patients may develop swelling of ankle as a side effect of this medicine. It may also produce dizziness initially, but this improves with time.

Benefits of Revolol AM Tablet

In Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Revolol AM 2.5mg/25mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines. Both medicines work to lower blood pressure but in different ways. Together they help relax blood vessels, reduce heart rate, and make it easier for the heart to pump blood around the body. This leads to lower blood pressure. If blood pressure is controlled, the risk of a heart attack, stroke, or kidney problems is also reduced.

This medicine must be taken regularly as prescribed for it to be effective. This medicine does not show any direct benefits, but works in the long term to keep you well. Also, make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine.
