How to use Resporidex Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Resporidex 250 mg/4 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Resporidex Capsule works

Resporidex 250 mg/4 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Cefalexin and Bromhexine which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Cefalexin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
