Product introduction

You can take Repalol Tablet at any time of day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. If you stop taking it, your condition may get worse. Keeping active with regular exercise, reducing your weight and eating a healthy diet will also help control your blood pressure. Follow your doctor’s advice while taking this medicine.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, taste change, constipation, diarrhea, and headache. Consult your doctor If any of these bother you, or get worse, or do not go away. Dizziness might occur as lowering of blood pressure, which get improved with time. It may increase the level of potassium in the blood, hence avoid potassium rich food and supplements.

Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You also need to tell your doctor what other medicines you are taking especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions. You should have your blood pressure, liver function and electrolytes level such as potassium checked regularly to make sure that this medicine is working properly.

Repalol Tablet is mainly prescribed to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). This medicine may help lower your risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems.
Individuals should not take Repalol Tablet if they are allergic to any ingredient of the medicine, have severe heart rhythm problems, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, severe kidney or liver disease, or are pregnant (especially in the second or third trimester).
Although they are rare, serious side effects of Repalol Tablet include severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, trouble breathing), extremely low blood pressure, dangerously slow heartbeat, difficulty breathing, persistent dizziness, fainting, or muscle pain with dark urine (possible kidney problems or rhabdomyolysis). Tell your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
Atenolol in Repalol Tablet may hide symptoms of low blood sugar, and Losartan in Repalol Tablet can cause changes in potassium or other electrolyte levels. If you have diabetes or kidney problems, monitor your blood sugar and electrolytes closely. Consult your doctor about regular blood tests.
While taking Repalol Tablet, tell your doctor if you have asthma, COPD, diabetes, poor blood circulation (Raynaud's disease), or peripheral artery disease. Repalol Tablet may hide signs of low blood sugar or thyroid dysfunction, so monitor your health closely if you have these conditions.
