Recold Tablet can be taken with or without food. Depending on the severity of your underlying illness, your doctor will decide the precise dose. You should take the medicine regularly while you do need it and try not to miss doses as it will become less effective.
Using this medicine may cause insomnia, restlessness, and sleepiness in some people. If you experience any of such side effects that do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.
Before using the medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have any other illnesses or disorders. It may also affect, or be affected by, some other medicines you are using so let your doctor know all the other medicines you are taking. It should be used with caution in patients who are alcoholic or have liver or kidney disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.

It helps loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also shrinks the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. These actions make breathing easier.
Recold Tablet is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop using it unless you are advised otherwise.

- Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
- Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
- Along with taking Recold Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
- Steam inhalation.
- Gargling with warm saltwater.
- Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
- Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
- Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
