Introduction

Ranicom D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is helpful in treating stomach acidity by relieving the symptoms which include heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation, and indigestion. It promotes the movement of food in the stomach to prevent nausea or vomiting.

Ranicom D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines. It is to be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. A high dose or overdose may have harmful effects on the body.

This medicine is generally well tolerated by patients. Some of the common side effects of this medicine are stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, and headache. How to use Ranicom D Tablet

How Ranicom D Tablet works

Ranicom D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Ranitidine, which relieves symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Ranitidine is an H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ranicom D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet Alcohol use can increase acid secretion, acid reflux in food pipe causing heartburn and decreasing effect of this drug. Ranicom D 10 mg/150 mg Tablet can also decrease alcohol breakdown and increase its level in blood.
Pregnancy

Q. What are the serious side effects of an overdose of Ranicom D?

Serious side effects are rare but can occur if you take a higher than the recommended dose. You could have stomach pain that seems to be getting worse (sign of an inflamed liver or pancreas), back pain, fever, pain while peeing or blood in your urine (signs of kidney problems), rash and a slow or irregular heartbeat.
