Rabvive-DSR Capsule is medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux). It works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach and improving gut motility to help move food through more easily. This helps relieve the symptoms of acidity, such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation.


Rabvive-DSR Capsule should be taken on an empty stomach in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. The exact dose will depend on your condition and response to treatment. Continue taking it for as long as prescribed, even if your symptoms improve, as stopping early may cause them to return or worsen. Inform your healthcare provider about all other medicines you are taking, as some may interact with Rabvive-DSR Capsule.


Common side effects include diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, weakness and flatulence. These are usually mild and temporary. However, contact your doctor immediately if any side effects persist or cause concern. This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness, so avoid driving or activities requiring alertness until you know how it affects you.


Refrain from drinking alcohol, as it can increase drowsiness. Lifestyle measures such as drinking cold milk and avoiding spicy foods, coffee, tea, and chocolate can enhance treatment effectiveness. Before starting Rabvive-DSR Capsule, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems, or if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Rabvive-DSR Capsule reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes and relieves the pain associated with heartburn and acid reflux. You should take it exactly as it is prescribed for it to be effective. Some simple lifestyle changes can help reduce the symptoms of GERD. Think about what foods trigger heartburn and try to avoid them; eat smaller, more frequent meals; try to lose weight if you are overweight, and try to find ways to relax. Do not eat within 3-4 hours of going to bed.

How Rabvive-D Capsule SR works

Rabvive-DSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Rabeprazole. Domperidone is a dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist with prokinetic and antiemetic properties. It improves the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food move more easily through the stomach, and also helps control nausea and vomiting. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach, helping relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

  • Take Rabvive-DSR Capsule one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that persists.
  • Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days, as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention.
  • Long-term use can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor.
  • Use Rabvive-DSR Capsule with caution if you are taking Methotrexate or certain Antiviral drugs. Always inform your doctor about these treatments so appropriate monitoring or adjustments can be made.
  • Focus on simple eating habits such as having smaller, more frequent meals, avoiding very spicy or oily foods, and not lying down immediately after eating. Try to identify personal trigger foods, as these can vary from person to person. Maintaining a regular meal routine and a healthy weight can also help reduce symptoms over time.
