Product introduction

Quadrovax SD Vaccine injection must be administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional. You should not take it if you have any known allergy from this injection.

The most common side effects include redness at the injection site, tenderness, irritability, vomiting, loss of appetite, and fever. If any of these side effects or any other symptoms which you think are because of this medicine persist for a longer duration, please inform your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or suffering from any other diseases. It is advised to avoid alcohol while taking this medicine. This medicine is safe to use in breastfeeding mothers and patients suffering from liver and kidney diseases.

Tetanus is a serious bacterial infection that affects the nervous system and causes muscles throughout the body to become stiff and tighten. Quadrovax SD Vaccine helps prevent tetanus infection. It helps the immune system to produce antibodies to fight against tetanus infection. However, it does not provide lifelong protection. A booster shot is recommended to be given after few years. Pertussis
Pertussis (often called whooping cough) is an infection of the airways that can occur at any age but mostly affects infants and young children. The infection causes uncontrollable coughing that can make it difficult to breathe. Quadrovax SD Vaccine gives protection from pertussis. It is advisable to consult your doctor for complete information regarding vaccination schedules.
Diphtheria
Diphtheria is a bacterial infection that causes pain and swelling in the throat. This might cause difficulty in breathing. It might also damage the heart, kidneys and nerves. Haemophilus influenzae Type b disease
Haemophilus Influenzae type b infection can cause serious illness, especially in children, some of which are meningitis (infection of brain meninges), pneumonia etc. It is spread mainly through contact with infected droplets (coughing or sneezing) or secretions from an infected person's nose and throat. Quadrovax SD Vaccine gives protection against this infection. It helps the immune system to produce antibodies to fight against the disease.

Quadrovax SD Vaccine is a combination of four vaccines. They help develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness but stimulates the body's immune system to produce antibodies (proteins) to protect against any future infections.
