Phenazopyridine(200 mg)


Pyridium 200 mg tablet is used to treat urinary tract pain, irritation, burning, discomfort, frequent and urgent urination due to urinary tract infection, injury, surgery or examination procedure.

How it works

Pyridium 200 mg tablet is an orange dye acts as urinary analgesic (pain reliever), it is believed to act as a local anesthetic on the lining of urinary tract thereby providing relief of symptoms of urinary tract infection. But it does not kill the bacteria.
