How Paingesic Tablet works
Paingesic Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Magnesium Trisilicate which relieve cold symptoms. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Magnesium Trisilicate is an inorganic salt that neutralizes the excess acid in the stomach.

- Do not take Paingesic Tablet with any other medicine containing (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
- Stick to simple meals and avoid fatty or spicy foods to avoid nausea after taking Paingesic Tablet.
- Along with taking Paingesic Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
- Steam inhalation.
- Gargling with warm saltwater.
- Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
- Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
- Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcase, etc.
- Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.

Driving
UNSAFE
Paingesic Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney
CAUTION
Paingesic Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Liver
UNSAFE
Paingesic Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
