Uses

Norgestrel is used in contraception.

How it works

Norgestrel is a progestin (female hormones). It works as part of hormone replacement therapy by replacing the amount of estrogen in the uterus. It works to bring on menstruation by replacing the natural progesterone that some women are missing.

Common side effects

Fatigue, Vomiting, Headache, Dizziness, Breast tenderness, Nausea, Diarrhoea, Irregular menstrual cycle, Lower abdominal pain.
Ethinyl Estradiol(0.05mg)

Uses

Ethinyl Estradiol is used for contraception, post menopausal osteoporosis, prostate cancer, hormone replacement therapy (hrt) and failure of ovarian development.

How it works

Ethinyl estradiol is a primary female sex hormone that, as a part of the hormone replacement therapy, works by maintaining the estrogen levels in the body, thereby relieving the symptoms occurring after menopause.
