How to use Orcipod-L Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Orcipod-L 200mg/250mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Orcipod-L Tablet works
Orcipod-L 200mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime and Levofloxacin. Cefpodoxime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Levofloxacin works by preventing the bacteria from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Orcipod-L 200mg/250mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Orcipod-L 200mg/250mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Orcipod-L 200mg/250mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Orcipod-L 200mg/250mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Orcipod-L 200mg/250mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
There is limited information available on the use of Orcipod-L 200mg/250mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
However, stop the medicine and inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine.

Can I take fixime 200 antibiotic for cold and dry cough.

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics
