    Optipred drop is used in the treatment of allergic disorders, severe allergic reaction and eye disorders

    How it works

    Optipred drop belongs to the class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It acts by stopping the release of certain natural substances in body that are responsible for pain and swelling.

    • Inform your doctor if you have or had raised eyeball pressure with or without compromised vision (glaucoma), viral infection in the eye, herpes, etc.
    • If you are using another eye drop along with difluprednate, maintain a time gap of 10 minutes between the application.
    • Do not use difluprednate eye drops while wearing contact lenses.
    • Do not suddenly stop difluprednate administration on your own, without consulting your doctor.
