Onimar PD 50 mg/1 mg Syrup is used in the treatment of asthma.

How to use Onimar PD Syrup

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Onimar PD 50 mg/1 mg Syrup is to be taken empty stomach.
Take this medicine 1 hour before or 2 hours after food. You can take it with food if stomach upset occurs.
Avoid Onimar PD 50 mg/1 mg Syrup with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

How Onimar PD Syrup works

Onimar PD 50 mg/1 mg Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Choline theophyllinate and salbutamol. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. This makes breathing easier.

Onimar PD 50 mg/1 mg Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Onimar PD 50 mg/1 mg Syrup is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Onimar PD 50 mg/1 mg Syrup may cause side effects such as dizziness, increased or uneven heart rate, muscle cramps or muscle pain. This may affect your ability to drive.
