Olmesartan(20mg)

Uses

Olmesartan is used in the treatment of increased blood pressure , heart failure, heart attack and diabetic kidney disease.

How it works

Olmesartan relaxes the blood vessels which lowers the blood pressure and also reduces the workload of the heart. As a result, the heart works more efficiently.

Common side effects

Fatigue, Dizziness, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Weakness, Vertigo, Anemia, Renal impairment, Increased potassium level in blood.
Chlorthalidone(12.5mg)

Uses

Chlorthalidone is used in fluid retention (edema), heart failure, increased blood pressure and kidney stone.

How it works

Chlorthalidone lowers the blood pressure and swelling by removing extra water and electrolytes from the body.

Common side effects

Headache, Nausea, Increased blood uric acid, Decreased potassium level in blood, Glucose intolerance, Altered blood lipids.
