Okacet Cold Tablet

Okacet Cold Tablet should be taken with or without food, in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Continue taking it for the full duration prescribed for the best result. Inform your doctor about all other medicines you are taking, as some may interact with this medicine.

The most common side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, dry mouth, and allergic reactions. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor immediately if you are concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or perform activities that require mental alertness until you know how the medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may increase sleepiness.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. • Some ingredients in Okacet Cold Tablet, such as decongestants, may raise blood pressure, so use caution if you have hypertension, heart disease, thyroid disease, or glaucoma.
• Drink adequate fluids and consider supportive care such as steam inhalation, saline nasal spray, or warm fluids to help relieve congestion.
• Stop using Okacet Cold Tablet and consult a doctor if you experience palpitations, severe headache, or marked restlessness.
• Dry mouth may occur with Okacet Cold Tablet. Adequate hydration and maintaining good oral hygiene may help reduce discomfort.
• If you have prostate enlargement or urinary problems, consult your doctor before using Okacet Cold Tablet because some decongestants may worsen urinary retention.
• Okacet Cold Tablet is usually meant for short-term symptom relief. If symptoms persist, medical evaluation may be needed to rule out conditions such as sinusitis, allergy, or asthma.
• Seek urgent medical care if you develop rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty while using Okacet Cold Tablet.
