Ocupol DX Eye Ointment is strictly advised to be used only in the eyes. Use it in the prescribed dose and duration. Apply it only to the affected eyes. You must wash your hand before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. The medicine should not be stopped suddenly without a doctor's consultation.
It is generally safe, but it may sometimes cause discomfort, irritation, and burning sensation in the eyes. These effects are mild and go away in some time. However, if these effects persist, you should consult the doctor immediately.

Use it 2-3 times a day for atleast a week or as prescribed by the doctor. Your symptoms might improve after using Ocupol DX Eye Ointment. However, make sure to complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

- Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contamination.
- Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up.
- Throw away any medicine left at the end of the 5 day course.
